Donald Trump Jr. on Monday confirmed that he communicated with WikiLeaks during his father’s presidential campaign.

“Here is the entire chain of messages with @wikileaks (with my whopping 3 responses) which one of the congressional committees has chosen to selectively leak. How ironic!,” Trump Jr. wrote on Twitter.

His disclosure came after a report in the Atlantic on Monday evening that published some of his messages. His lawyers had turned over this messages to congressional investigators as lawmakers continue to probe allegations of collusion between President Donald Trump’s campaign and the Russian government.

The private exchanges began in September 2016. According to the screenshots shared by Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son did not respond to most of the inquires from WikiLeaks.

Senior members of the U.S. intelligence community have accused WikiLeaks of being a stooge for the Russian government by publishing hacked emails from John Podesta during the campaign. Podesta was then Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman.

Julian Assange, WikiLeaks’ founder, has denied claims of collusion.

In one email, Trump Jr. asked WikiLeaks about statements that longtime Trump confidant Roger Stone and others had been making before WikiLeaks began to leak Podesta’s emails. According to both The Atlantic report and screenshots of the conversation, WikiLeaks never responded.

“What’s behind this Wednesday leak I keep reading about?,” Trump wrote on Oct. 3.

This is the second time Trump Jr. has tweeted information about his campaign work and Russia after a bombshell report. Earlier this year, he tweeted screenshots of emails that detailed his participation in a meeting with a Kremlin-linked lawyer. He and then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort met the lawyer in June 2016 at Trump Tower.
